Trains and buses across Japan. Your places stay yours.
Noriba finds routes the way you know from the big timetable apps. The difference: your home address, favorites and history are locked on your phone before they ever reach us.
How your data travels
-
On your phone
You save Home. The app locks it with a key made from your password. The key never leaves the device.
-
On the way
Only a scrambled block of bytes is sent. Without the key it is noise.
-
On our server in Japan
We store the block. We hold no key, so nobody here can open it, admins included.
Because of this, we can't restore your saved places if you forget your password. You can reset the account, but those places will be gone.
What you'll be able to do
-
Route search
Start, destination, date and time. Choose departure, arrival, first or last train.
-
Timetables
Departures for any station or bus stop.
-
Map
Tap a station on the map to use it as start or destination.
-
Smart search Later
Type or say “From Shinjuku to home at 8 pm” and get routes.
What protects your account
- Your password is never sent. Your browser derives a separate login key, and we store only an Argon2id hash of it.
- Saved places are encrypted in your browser with AES-256-GCM.
- Hosted in Japan and run under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI).
- No ads, no tracking scripts, no third-party fonts.
- Delete your account any time. It is removed from the database, not hidden.
